Lieutenant Colonel Annie L Lawrence

MARYLAND – Lieutenant Colonel Annie L. Lawrence, age 90 of Oxon Hill, Maryland and formerly of Chadbourn, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 7, at the Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville, NC.

Lieutenant Colonel Annie L. Lawrence was born on August 27, 1929, in Columbus County, to the late Horace & Mary Lawrence.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

A graveside service to commemorate Annie’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Belvue Cemetery, 1055 Clarendon-Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn; the family will receive friends following the service.

A public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Friday at D&A Funeral Services.

Survivors include sisters, Clara L. Dunn and husband, Wayne, of Whiteville, Mary Flowers and Evangeline McBride both of Chadbourn; brothers, Walter Lawrence and wife, Shirley of Durham, NC, Roosevelt Lawrence of Chadbourn; a host of nieces and nephews.
