Fletcher Bethea

Fletcher Bethea, age 67 of Whiteville formerly of Evergreen, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at his residence.

Fletcher was born on July 10, 1955, to the late Roscoe McMillian and Katie Carmichael. He was also preceded in death by his son, Shawn Hill.

Viewing  will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Friday, December 2, 2022, at D&A Funeral Chapel, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Mt Horeb AME Church, 187 Otis Donnell Nixon Rd, Evergreen, NC 28438 with Pastor Guy Sidberry eulogist.  Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Community Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Sherena Jackson(Erick) and Nicole Young; a stepdaugher Charice Hill; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers William Carmichael (Tabitha), Roscoe Bethea (Darlene) and James "Ball" Bethea; and the love of his life Brenda McLellan. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
