Donald Anthony Carter

Donald Anthony Carter, 59 of Chadbourn, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Lower Cape Fear Center in Whiteville. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Zion Wall Freewill Baptist Church. Elder Wendell Gore, Pastor. Burial in the Belvue Cemetery. Viewing Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 12 noon to 7:00 pm at D & A Funeral Chapel and one hour before service at the church. No viewing after the service. He is survived by his mother Arlene McRae of Chadbourn, three sisters Marsha Denise Boston, Fatima Carter and Brenda Hodges, one uncle David Council, one nephew, Shaun McCelland and a special friend Linda Delois Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may visit at 714 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn.
