Connell Maurice Faulk

A few days ago the world lost an unparalleled father, grandfather, son, and brother. Connell Maurice Faulk, age 48, of Chadbourn, North Carolina died on Thursday, June  16, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, North Carolina.

Rabbit, as he was affectionately known, was born on June 21, 1973. He was the son of Annie Mae Merritt and the late Henry Faulk. He was also preceded in death by his son, DaKwon Faulk; granddaughter, Adriana Faulk; and two siblings, James Merritt and Evelyn Tart. 

A walk-through viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at D&A Funeral Services Chapel, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn. 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Belvue Cemetery, 1055 Clarendon-Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn with Pastor Barbara Johnson officiating. 

Mr. Faulk leaves behind his two children, Princess and Shaquana Faulk of the home; six grandchildren Tiana Faulk, Legend Miller, Za’Niya Faulk, Sherriana Miller; DaKwon Faulk Jr., and Prince Faulk; mother Annie Mae Merritt of Goose Creek, South Carolina; one brother Henry Merritt of Chadbourn, North Carolina; four sisters Maryann Burris of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Teresa Merritt of Ladson, South Carolina, Seanti Faulk of Baltimore, Maryland and Tiffany Faulk of Baltimore, Maryland; two uncles Charles (Patricia) Merritt of Chadbourn, North Carolina and William (Ella) Faulk of Tabor City, North Carolina; two aunts Katrina Willimas and Vernell Williams both of Chadbourn, North Carolina. A host of family and friends.
