Cleveland Gaddy

Cleveland Demond Gaddy, age 45 of Burke, VA and formerly of Chadbourn, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.   Cleveland was born on June 24, 1976, in Columbus County.

A walk-through viewing will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, July 9, 2021, at D&A Funeral Services, Inc. Chapel, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, North Carolina.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Belvue Cemetery, 1055 Clarendon-Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn with Pastor Jerry Ganus, officiating. 

To cherish his memory, Cleveland leaves behind a beloved wife, Tamra McCleskey of the home; six daughters Tamia, Tiara, and Tanina all of the home, Mary Jones of Whiteville, NC, Bethany Yates of Chadbourn, NC, and Tashammie Gaddy of Bladenboro, NC; four sons Tyler of the home, Dequadon Maultsby of Chadbourn, NC, Savon George of Lumberton, NC, and Montyese McMillon of Fair Bluff NC; one grandson Adrian Gaddy of Bladenboro, NC; parents Cleveland and Linda Thomas Gaddy of Chadbourn; four sisters Frances James(Lonnie) of Jersey City, NJ, Danyeal Thomas of Alexandria, VA, Heather Gaddy of Columbia, SC and Tanica "Nicky" Lopez of Lexington, SC; and a mother-in-law Denise McAfee of Virginia.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who loved him dearly.
